Rainy Lake is a world-class fishery over 212,000 acres, 929 miles of shoreline with another 635 miles around 1600 islands.

Rainy Lake is unquestionably the finest walleye lake in Voyageurs National Park. Our community has worked diligently with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the Rainy Lake Sportfishing Club, and our resorts and houseboat companies to re-establish one of North America's premier walleye fisheries.
